15 Jun – Visit to CCK park’s new community garden

In return for welcoming a large group of gardeners to Pavilion’s edible garden a few weeks back, NParks invited us to join the group as they start putting in plants at a newly created community garden, sited in Choa Chu Kang park extension.

This community garden was open to all community gardeners who live within the town’s housing estates.

Neighbours Steven, Dennis, Lydia and Cuifen went to check out the event.

Here are some photos!

Some of the land reserved for the new community garden. A huge one by Singapore standards! Can set up a really good commercial farm already.

One of the 3 beds that NParks park management had prepared for the group. This group did some coordinated planning before proceeding with the transplants.
